Daneen Cline

Program Assistant, Blue Shield Against Violence

Daneen Cline is a program assistant for Blue Shield of California Foundation. In her role with Blue Shield Against Violence (BSAV), Ms. Cline coordinates program initiatives such as the 2010-2012 BSAV Core Support Initiative. She also serves as the first point of contact for much of BSAV's grantee communications, and manages BSAV administrative activities.

Ms. Cline brings 12 years of executive and administrative experience to her position at the Foundation. Ms. Cline joined Blue Shield of California Foundation as a recent graduate of Mills College, having earned her bachelor of arts degree with honors in women's studies. While at Mills, Ms. Cline shared her enthusiasm and talent for advocacy as a teaching assistant in the Introduction to Women's Studies course and wrote her thesis on women's access to health care. In her work with Blue Shield Against Violence, Ms. Cline brings together her education, work experience, and passion for making a difference in the lives of women.
