Aida Pelton
Aida Pelton serves as public affairs assistant, and is responsible for coordinating all activities related to the Foundation’s public affairs and communications efforts. Prior to joining Blue Shield of California Foundation, Ms. Pelton spent several years in the nonprofit sector as a marketing manager for the YMCA. She started her career at the YMCA as a volunteer and then turned her volunteering into an internship, and then landed in the corporate office as the marketing manager for the entire association.
Ms. Pelton's passion is to organize and execute large events for the community, such as health fairs, fundraisers, and golf tournaments. She also enjoys working with people, bringing them high-quality programs and events. She is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a bachelor of arts in recreation & leisure studies, and is currently pursuing her master of science degree in integrated marketing communications with an emphasis on public relations.
